Ferrari F12 Berlinetta success was recently matched with the unveiling of another powerful F12 TDF.
Ferrari had just issued a press release via Auto Blog saying, "The F12tdf is a concentration of technical innovations which involve all those areas central to Ferrari's DNA: engine, aerodynamics and vehicle dynamics. As a result, in terms of acceleration, road holding and agility, the new Berlinetta is second to none."
Ferrari sports car's latest model gets additional power, reduced amount of weight and other upgrades in performance.
F12 TDF, the new Ferrari sports car, is equipped with no other than 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine of a standard F12 Berlinetta. The engine has been enhanced to generate more power. Currently, it produces 509 pound-feet of torque and 769 horsepower.
The inside trim of the cabin is lined with Alcantara leather. Each seat is furnished with technical fabric, while the floor mats feature decorated aluminum.
The F12 TDF also gets aerodynamic enhancements and its body runs on an ample use of carbon fiber. This results in a sports car that is 242 pounds less heavy than the standard.
This Ferrari model showcases a sensual but aggressive design. Its shiny and chiseled surface reveals its swept back nature. F12 TDF gets the latest and extremely intricate front bumper. In addition, the rear and front tracks have also been broadened to give a more aggressive bearing.
Aside from all that was mentioned above, F12 TDF is full of other exciting new features such as a DCT transmission, and Virtual Short Wheelbase among the others, Motor Trend reported.
Ferrari F12 TDF is scheduled to make an official unveiling in the Finali Mondiali World Finals this coming Nov. 8. Fans are still waiting for an announcement of the pricing information.
