WWE Hell In A Cell : Bad News Barret Needs Good News For His Character
He is renowned for his famous catchphrase, " I am sorry I am afraid I have some bad news". I am referring to English WWE wrestler 'Bad News Barret'. Barret who is a five-time Intercontinental champion is suffering a lot from bad booking.
With Hell In A Cell coming up this Sunday, WWE should be using this as a chance to boost Bad News' character. The Englishman does have in ring talent, WWE agree to a certain extent, but in the past few months creative I feel are making a mockery of such talent.
Granted he was given the King of The Ring crown, which is deserved for such a talent. Then though WWE weren't content on building on that, instead they decided to put Barret in the one of the worst rivalries of recent times.
The only rivalry that probably overtakes the R-Truth and Barret feud is that of Dolph Ziggler and Rusev, and that was very bad. Bad News is clearly talented, I mean remember when he was the leader of the Nexus, those were the days - but the WWE, being the WWE they ruined a great idea.
I don't think Barret's character has been given the respect it deserves since. A match with Neville, who is a talented performer would be a good match at Hell In A Cell, but this match has happened for the umpteenth time.
Bad News Barret needs a good match for his wrestling career, I sincerely beg you WWE to please don't waste such a talent. Barret needs a strong push. Seamus and Barret have been friends recently when they were bitter enemies in the past.
WWE should do one of two things, one make Barret or Seamus turn on the other or two where WWE Barret is given a WWE title shot. Just mix things up a little creative, go on be bold!
