New "Street Fighter 5" details will have phase 1 fighters in the second beta test, two new character announcements and a possible VR gameplay for the the sequel.
Capcom announced that characters from the phase 1 beta test will be added in "Street Fighter 5's" secon beta trials for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. Gamers who have played the first beta test will have a chance to control the first six playable characters from phase 1 such as Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Charlie Nash, Cammy White and Birdie will join R. Mika, Ken Masters, Balrog, Laura Necalli etc., PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
The inclusion of the phase 1 characters in the second beta test was Capcom's way of showing gratitude to the gaming fans that have supported "Street Fighter 5" since its announcement and so far, gamers have enjoyed the second beta test with minimal errors and glitches.
PC gamers were also given a chance to play "Street Fighter 5" second beta test using the max settings from their computers from image quality, resolution scale and depth of field to its post-processing features, textures and effects.
"Street Fighter 5's" second beta test also featured cross-platform gameplay for PS4 and PC users to fight i online matches, but what is interesting about the PC version is that someone has found a way for the game to have virtual reality gameplay support, Attack of the Fanboy reported
The information contained in the file dump was enough to support a possible VR headset gameplay, but Capcom has not yet released a statement regarding the rumored VR feature, although the Japanese game developer is working on apps on the iOS and Android software for "Street Fighter 5".
Capcom added that they will also announce the final two characters for "Street Fighter 5's" roster as they they will intially start of with 16 fighters all in all when the game launches next year. It is hinted that first character could a new person, while the other is recurring character not from the "Street Fighter 2" fame and its rumored to be either Uriel, Alex or Eagle.
As for the new character, two names were already leaked online and they are Sherry and Kuan, while other possible fighters are also being considered in the roster such as Guile, C. Viper, Poison, Hugo, Dudley, Abel and Akuma.
"Street Fighter 5" will release in March 2016 for the PS4 and PC.
