"American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 is set to air Halloween themed Episode 4. The forthcoming episode is appropriately titled "Devil's Night" and will see Detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley) sit down for dinner with some real-life serial killers. The show will introduce Lily Rabe's character Aileen Wurnos, one of the well-known serial killers of all times and John Carroll Lynch's character John Wayne Gacy. Thing are only going to get terrifying in the Hotel Cortez, when on the night of Halloween, its psychopathic owner James March will host a dinner party for the hotel residents and others. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the special Halloween-themed episode will be a two-part segment.
Season 5 Episode 4 "Devil's Night" will have all the elements essential to Halloween. According to the showrunner, in part one of the Halloween-theme segment, John Lowe will find himself in the room full of real-life serial killers including James March, Aileen Wurnos and Gacey.
"The biggest serial killers of all time all come to the hotel. Gacey. Aileen. John Lowe's invited to a devil's night dinner. He thinks someone is pulling a huge prank on him. It's the biggest serial killers of all time in a room with him and he has to figure who is trying to make him lose his mind," Ryan Murphy told the abovementioned publication.
Fans can expect more surprises in "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 Episode 4 "Devil's Night." As noted by Murphy, part two of the Halloween special will see the arrival of Darren Criss' character. While the name of the character still remains unknown, it is said he is portraying the role of a "hipster," who checks in the Hotel Cortez with his girlfriend to avoid trick-or-treaters.
"They're horrified they can't get their artisanal cheese and they hate the sheets and they put Iris [Kathy Bates] through the wringer and she's not happy," Murphy said about the couple arriving at the Hotel Cortez.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for "American Horror Story: Hotel" (AHS) Season 5 Episode 4 (via TV.com) also suggest that Alex springs into action and tries to diagnose her son Holden's condition. Fans will remember that Scarlett discovered her brother alive in Episode 2 of the series Will Alex be able to help Holden? Will she take her back home?
