The angry Atlanta Falcons (6-1) bounced back with a vengeance after suffering their first loss of the season in Week 6 against New Orleans. Next, they will host the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4) at the Georgia Dome on Sunday for a 2015 NFL season Week 8 game.
It was an extremely disappointing loss for the Bucs at the FedEx Field last Sunday when the Washington Redskins rallied from a three-touchdown deficit to beat them in the end, 31-30, as reported by the team's official website.
Kirk Cousins slowly lifted back the Redskins in the second half after being down 24-7 at halftime while rookie top pick Jameis Winston was unable to provide any answers during crunch time.
Meanwhile, the Falcons pulled off an ugly 10-7 win over the Marcus Mariota-less Titans at the Nissan Stadium also last Sunday, as per Yahoo Sports.
Running back Devonta Freeman was the star of the match, running for 116 yards in 25 carries for Atlanta's cause. Matt Ryan converted a touchdown pass to Julio Jones at the third canto to secure the victory for Dan Quinn's squad as both teams were scoreless in the payoff period.
Atlanta will look to build another winning streak in this home game against the highly inconsistent Bucs this week.
Prediction: Falcons win, 35-17.
