Without sounding too much like a broken record player, WWE creative a making a real mess of the Diva's revolution. The so-called revolution is a real case of trying to fit in too much at once, it also reminds me of the Roman Reigns situation and how the push of the Powerhouse fans leaving fans with the feeling of disillusion.
As we have discussed before it's the lack of direction that the division is going in that's annoying fans. Three teams of three fighting for the same thing seemed like a good idea to start with, but it's not caught pace - much to the annoyance of the WWE universe for sure.
In last night's Raw, PCB member Paige looks to have finally decided that she is going to break away from her team. The former two-time diva's champion looks like she has turned into a heel.
For some reason, WWE turned Paige into a heel but then seemed to lack the conviction to go through with the idea. A twist to the story is good, it keeps things unpredictable and that's good for a failing division.
What I don't agree is that it might not be a good time to turn heel, simply because of this three teams story line. WWE have been brave by making Paige turn into a heel, what they need to do is keep this story line going.
To add to the story line, I think the WWE should make the teams separate. What I mean by that is I think WWE should make it be that all the Diva's break away from their teams. Here is how it should happen, Just like creative did before, Charlotte got into the divas title picture with an elimination match which made her the number one contender.
That victory for Charlotte and her subsequent title win got Paige jealous, the WWE needs to feed on that. So to explain, Sascha, Tamina and Naomi become embroiled in a power struggle in the group when WWE announces another match for the number one contender.
Just like with Paige, jealousy should be the reason that all the factions divide, that includes the Bella's. The Diva's revolution hasn't worked. If only creative would be honest enough to admit it.
