A brand new Dragon Ball movie has been confirmed. The latest report has confirmed that the new movie is a part of the trilogy featuring "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F'" and "The Battle of Gods." It has to be seen if the new movie's material will be a part of "Dragon Ball Super."
According to Ramen Para Dos, director Tadayoshi Yamamuro and producer Norihiro Hayashida confirmed that fans will get to see a new Dragon Ball Z movie in the future.
Currently, "Dragon Ball Super" TV series has showcased the battle of the Gods arc featuring Super Saiyan God Goku taking on the God of Destruction Lord Beerus. Now the series is exploring the Champa arc.
More details of the new Dragon Ball movie are not yet out, but hopefully it will be released soon.
The last film of the franchise was "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F'" - "In the wake of their leader's defeat on the planet Namek, the remnants of Frieza's army collect Earth's Dragon Balls and use the Eternal Dragon to bring the mad tyrant back to life. Confident in his ability to grow stronger, the newly revived Frieza begins plotting to invade Earth once again and destroy the Saiyans who had slain him. Meanwhile, on the home world of Beerus the Destroyer, Goku and Vegeta are training under Whis in an effort to push their limits beyond that of the gods, leaving their friends back on earth to deal with the vengeful Frieza and his new army," reads the synopsis of the film.
