With new games are coming out in the last quarter of 2015, it's even more compelling to snag the Microsoft Xbox One and thanks to Black Friday 2015, sticker price of the console as well titles and controllers are going south.
From the current $350, the Xbox One asking price could go as low as $299 on November 27 and for many retailers the discounts will take effect earlier, Gotta Be Mobile said in a report. Expect the biggies such as Walmart, Best Buy, Target and even Amazon to offer tempting Xbox deals that will be made available for walk-in buyers or via online purchase.
As an early Black Friday lure for buyers, Microsoft has packaged the Xbox One with the Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Fallout 4, deploying both with an extra controller for only $299 as mentioned above. Deal hunters can expect similar offerings in the days ahead as the Xbox One will surely tempt buyers with other exciting game titles, new and old, with controllers generously included.
But if buying high-end controllers is preferred, the best path to take is getting an Xbox Live subscription, GBM said, that will lead to the subscription fee being shaved off by up to 50% with the added benefits of significant discounts on gaming accessories like controllers and headset. For Black Friday, Xbox One fans could realize savings of up to $15 on an Xbox One Elite Controller.
As for the game titles, there will be no shortage of discounts as Black Friday will surely see shrinking tag prices for all the favorites - old, new or upcoming. GBM is predicting that Halo 5, Fallout 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and other new releases will sell for as low as $45, the mark of course will greatly depend on retailers' offerings.
Other game titles will likely sell at even lower prices depending on when they were issued. For the second half of 2015 releases, the sticker price could read $40, according to GBM, adding that games that rolled out in the early months of the year could go as low as $30.
Meanwhile, BGR said that Black Friday will start early over at Walmart with incredible deals likely to surface beginning on November 1, which should give shoppers a clear idea on where to head for their pre and post-Thanksgiving buying spree.
