Android allows its users with an option to remotely delete data from phone.
In case a user miss his or her phone and wish to delete the contents in it, then it can be done by implementing the remote delete option, Android Pit reported. The settings in android phone can be used to ensure that the entire data in android phone is wiped out. Android device manager can be accessed through two different methods: through android device manager app or by logging in to the android device manager website.
Once the app or site is logged in, Android device manager initiates the step to identify the location of the phone. Both app and website provides real time data. Location can be found using map and poses next with the three simple questions: ring, lock or wipe out. User can select one option from any of the three.
The ring option sends an alert and user might get a chance to get the phone back. Selecting lock option will completely freeze the phone. In case both the above options are not viable, then user can go ahead with wiping out the phone data completely. This will ensure that the entire record stored in the android smartphone is erased.
If your android phone is offline, the entire operation will be registered and performed automatically once the phone is online. Alternately, Android Lost app can also be used if Android device manager or website does not work. Android Lost application may not be able to convey real time data, but ensures that your entire phone data is wiped out.
