"Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak just landed her first acting gig in "Center Stage: Dance Camp." She will reportedly join the cast for the third installment of the franchise, which will air on Lifetime.
Lukasiak recently posted a couple of behind-the-scenes photos on her Twitter and Instagram page. By the looks of it, the 14-year-old dancer is having the time of her life bonding with her co-stars.
According to Deadline, Lukasiak is currently busy filming in Vancouver, Canada. The former reality star will reportedly play a dance prodigy named Gwen in the movie.
"Center Stage: Dance Camp" is the third movie in the franchise following "Center Stage" (2008) and "Center Stage: Turn It Up" (2008).
Lukasiak has previously hinted that she is working on an exciting new project. After revealing that she has created a line for two major retailers, she shared that she is set to make an announcement about her new venture soon.
Meanwhile, in October, "Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler also revealed that she will be part of Naomi Watts' new movie "The Book of Henry." This is also the first time that the dancer will be seen on the big screen following her multiple appearances on TV series, "Pretty Little Liars," "Austin & Ally" and "Drop Dead Diva."
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Ziegler shared that she has always wanted to pursue a career in acting. The reality star explained that she wanted to be a "triple threat" and hoped to land more acting gigs after "PLL." She shared that although she loved to dance, she has always wondered what it was like to become a TV/movie actress.
