The upcoming episode of "Empire" season 2 will focus on Hakeem's fate after he was abducted while jogging in the park.
In "A High Hope For A Low Heaven," Cookie and Lucious Lyon will team up to help each other search for their missing son.
When they receive a video message from Hakeem saying that he is still alive, Cookie and Lucious will do everything in their power to make sure that he will be brought home safe.
Meanwhile, Jamal will attempt to become a good brother by telling his parents that he will also look for Hakeem.
However, he was advised not to because it's too dangerous.
Someone is strying to take down the Lyon family, and this villainous character will be revealed in the upcoming eipsodes.
In other news, Andre and Lucious will once again have bad blood between them after the latter told the former that he didn't make him in charge.
Rather, he was only given a position back at Empire to "put him in place."
In the teaser released by FOX, Andre could be seen shaking the hand of an unknown character.
Fans are now speculating that this person could be connected to Hakeem's abductors.
Another highlight from "A High Hope For A Low Heaven" will focus on Cookie kissing Adam Rodriguez's Laz Delgado character.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rodriguez said that he will be part of "Empire" season 2 in a recurring role, and as Cookie's newest flame.
"Empire" season 2 airs Wednesdays on FOX.
