"Switched at Birth" actor Nyle DiMarco landed at the bottom two for the first time during the judging panel of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 episode 13 titled "The Girl Who Took a Shot in the Dark," which aired on The CW on Nov. 6, Friday.
DiMarco and his fellow top five finalists Mame Adjei, Mikey Heverly, Lacey Rogers and Devin Clark posed while freezing cold and seeing nothing in the woods during the photo shoot with Yu Tsai.
In the judges' panel, Tyra Banks said DiMarco could have been a little looser with his pose while Rogers looked great in her photo the way she posed her arm was not good. Like Miss J. Alexander, the "ANTM" creator, judge and host liked Heverly's face in his photo.
On the other hand, Kelly Cutrone said Heverly's face was a little too intense. She said Adjei's looked super cool in her photo but she could have made her eyes look a little bigger. According to Banks, Adjei's best photo was actually a test shot so she reminded the top five finalists that a real model gives his or her best all the time.
Cutrone did not like Clark's photo, which for Alexander was not a bad shot although he said he can do better. For Banks, Clark looked like a strong male model and he has started listening to the judges' feedback.
It was Heverly who got the first call-out followed by Adjei then Rogers, so it was DiMarco and Clark who were left in the bottom two.
After his elimination, Clark said he was sad. He tearfully said he would have liked to make to the top three at least.
