According to recent "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" spoilers, the highly anticipated new entry of the series created by CyberConnect 2 will offer a unique online multiplayer experience with its improved features.
Launching in all regions in 2016 on consoles and PC, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will have new online events and a DLC pack. According to a new issue of the Japanese magazine VJump, as translated by Shonen Gamez, the upcoming game will feature an open-world game mode.
Dubbed the Adventure Mode, the new open-world game mode of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" allows players to roam around the Hidden Leaf Village and across the Hidden Sand Village freely.
With the Adventure Mode, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" players can receive several missions, which when accomplished will reveal certain cut scenes and events. Along the way, the players can control Naruto but they can also switch to other squad's characters.
Aside from the Adventure Mode, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will have a new online multiplayer mode that allows players to battle it out against fellow ninjas around the world.
Currently, three DLC packs are panned for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," which will also receive a Season Pass. These packs include a Playable Character pack and two Another Scenario packs, which will include new Combination Secret Techniques, according to Geek Snack.
Another feature that will be added in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is Special Timed Events. Details about the new feature are not available.
