During the ClashCon 2015 event, Clash of Clans developer Supercell gave attendees news on the massive update that will soon be available for gamers.
There is no information on when the update will be released. However, rumors are doing the rounds that the massive update will be released this month. The new update includes a gem mine, a new defensive unit, a new hero and new town hall, Gospel Herald reported.
It is expected that the latest update will transform the defense structure into 4 x 4 squares. In addition, the map will be expanded to 44 x 44 squares giving sufficient space to the gamers for maneuverings. If reports are anything to go by, Supercell will enable loot sharing. This gem mine will likely generate a small amount of gems; however, in the long-time, it can be very useful.
Several reports suggest that the barbarian troops will get a level 8 upgrade. It means that the troops will have higher hp and cause more damage than before. It appears that the new hero will be a mage character, as it carries a staff in his hand.
Meanwhile, according to reports, in 2014, a Finland-based mobile gaming company and the game developer Supercell raked in big profits. They are now considered the country's biggest money-maker.
STT, Finnish news agency, revealed on Nov. 2 that the firm behind 'Clash of Clans' earned 871 million euros last year, according to US News. Not only that, the company had the highest pre-tax income of any Finnish firm.
