Samsung is rumored to release two versions of its new flagship phone, the Galaxy S6, in 2015, according to information leaked on the Internet.

A leaked screenshot from Chinese website CNMO shows the alleged phone specs of the new Galaxy S6 on the database of AnTuTu, a benchmarking app for smartphones.

According to the screenshot, the Galaxy S6 would feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display screen. It would also be fitted with a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, but the listed model number on the leaked image is from the European region, which means that other areas of the globe may see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 system-on-chip (SoC) processor.

In terms of its camera, the rear one would sport 20 megapixels, while the front-facing one would be a 5-megapixel camera. The Galaxy S6 will also be powered by the Android 5.0 Lollipop, the newest version of the OS confirmed earlier this year. The new flagship phone is also rumored to feature 3GB of RAM and a large 32GB internal storage memory.

The new specs leaked is in line with a report from SamMobile earlier in November. The report said that the Galaxy S6 would sport a Quad HD display with 2,560 x 1,400 pixel resolution, the Exynos 7420 microprocessor, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, and a rear camera within the range of 16 to 20 megapixels.

SamMobile also said that the new smartphone may be released within the first quarter of 2015, in time for the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in early March.

It was also reported that Samsung would be releasing another version of its new flagship phone, the Galaxy S6 Edge. The specs under the hood is similar to the original S6 except for its display screen. The Galaxy S6 Edge is rumored to feature a curved display, which is what the Korean tech firm did on their Galaxy Note Edge.
