Miss Maryland USA 2015 Mame Adjei was romantically linked to Asian American model Justin Kim during the first episodes of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 until the latter was eliminated in the ninth episode of the current cycle of the modelling competition created by Tyra Banks.
In "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 14 titled "The Guy Who was a Momma's Boy," Adjei cannot help but talk about how much she likes Mikey Heverly. It appears that Miss Maryland USA 2015, who was loyal to Kim in the past episodes, forgot that he once said she belongs to the Asian American model.
On the other hand, Heverly was originally linked to Ashley Molina who was eliminated in "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 7. After Molina's elimination, Heverly started flirting with Adjei and Hadassah Richardson, who was eliminated in "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 12.
Born in the United States, Kim resides in Springfield, Virginia, and became the first Korean male contestant of "ANTM." Before him, Asian American Adam Smith, who is of Malaysian decent, joined "ANTM" cycle 21 and placed third behind runner-up Will Jardell and first ever male "ANTM" winner Keith Carlos.
Both Adjei and Heverly are still on the running to become the next America's next top model along with Lacey Rogers and Nyle DiMarco. In "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 14, Adjei won the first call-out for the first time while Heverly was at the bottom for the first time.
This leaves Adjei as the only "ANTM" cycle 22 finalist has yet to be placed at the bottom two. DiMarco was at the bottom for the first time in "ANTM" cycle 22 episode 13 while Rogers' recent bottom two position with Heverly was her second time.
