The fresh batch of Sony Pictures Entertainment emails released by the hackers who call themselves "Guardians of the Peace" posed imminent threats to two of the most highly anticipated films today-the latest James Bond flick and Spiderman.

In what could only be considered a massive jeopardy to a billion-dollar franchise, the creators and producers of the next James Bond movie, 'Spectre', have been scrambling to put a stop to the possible distribution of the early draft of the script. Although the Bond movie executives acknowledged that their material had been included in the latest batch of leaked documents, they also issued a warning against anyone who intends to publish the story. The film's producers reminded third parties contemplating on distributing copies of the screenplay that the material is covered by copyright protection worldwide.

To ensure that potential illegal distributors of the script will think twice before proceeding with their unlawful ideas, the producers asserted that they will "take all necessary steps to protect their rights against the persons who stole the screenplay, and against anyone who makes infringing uses of it or attempts to take commercial advantage of confidential property it knows to be stolen."

Apart from the perils faced by "Spectre" following this latest hacking incident, the career of the leading man of the hit film Spiderman may also be at risk.

Andrew Garfield, the actor who played Peter Parker in the movie series, may soon be out of the project. In the hacked correspondence among the executives of Sony, one of the reasons for possibly replacing the actor is the poor box office performance of the "Amazing Spider-Man 2." In addition, Garfield reportedly affronted Sony's leaders by failing to join a dinner party with them. Moreover, the company executives appear to be considering allowing Marvel to regain control over the series.

To date, the identities of the hackers remain unknown. However, North Korea has been highly suspected to be perpetrating the crime as retribution to the upcoming Sony flick involving the country's leader, Kim Jong Un.
