"Scorpion" season 2 episode 9 broke the hearts of fans that have been supporting Sylvester and Megan's relationship.
This week, Sylvester and Walter had a brief falling out because they both had different plans for Megan.
Walter believed that it would be best if Megan undergoes a more aggressive treatment for her infection.
Sylvester, on other hand, wanted to make sure that he would respect Megan's wishes.
Meanwhile, the earlier parts of the episode saw Walter obtaining a court order that gave him authority over Megan.
Walter decided to subject Megan to a breathing tube. However, when she awoke, Megan told Sylvester that that's not what she wanted.
Another shocking twist from this week's episode left Walter questioning Sylvester's loyalties.
After removing Megan from the incubator, she and Sylvester decided to wed in the hospital.
According to Cartermatt, Walter's frustration over what Sylvester did didn't last that long. After all, he also realized that he no longer wants to hurt Megan.
In other news, Ralph also reappeared in this week's episode of "Scorpion" season 2.
Team Scorpion helped to improve Ralph's grades in his gym class. The genius is good at almost everything except his physical activities.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Scorpion" season 2 will introduce Sylvester's father.
According to TV Line, the producers of "Scorpion" are still looking to cast a male character aged 50 or so who could also pass as a genius.
"Scorpion is casting Sly's military-for-life dad, who has long struggled to connect with his genius son," the publication noted.
"Scorpion" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
