There are speculations that Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge release may happen in Jan. 2016.
The next flag ship phone from Samsung, the Galaxy S7 is rumored to come in three variants, according to Forbes. All these variants are expected to sport different screen sizes. One of the variants will sport a screen size of 5.2 inches, while the second variant will sport a screen size of 5.8 inches. The third variant is expected to be a surprise and is expected to be power packed with many high end features.
The rumor mill also states that all of these variants will sport a screen resolution of 4K, which is one of the latest technologies being adopted everywhere. The current Samsung Galaxy S6 already sports pretty sharp visuals, featuring a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is even greater than 4K.
In comparison, among the competitors, Sony is also planning to equip its Xperia Z5 Premium with a resolution of 4K, making it the first smart phone in the world to feature such a high screen resolution. It will also sport 808 ppi on a 5.5-inch display.
Rounding up the rumored specs, Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be equipped with a RAM of 4GB, or 6GB. It is also rumored that this flag ship phone will make its debut early next year before the MWC 2016, according to Android Pit.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is also rumored to sport Samsung's own CPU core. It is rumored to be Samsung's patent core processor, and will be used in all the further devices. Samsung's Korean HQ is rumored to be developing its very own custom processor core. This will assure one thing; no more ARM Cortex stock CPU cores or third party processors. Everything will be done in house.
