The wait continues for the release date details on the Pokémon Z and the augmented reality-oriented Pokémon GO but the information available so far is mostly centered on the chief character Zygarde that fans of the franchise knew first through the Pokémon X and Y.

In the absence of solid release updates for the upcoming game titles, Movie Pilot turned its attention to Zygarde that according to reports will be the strongest Z character, easily besting Pokémon X and Y legends Xerneas and Yveltal. The blog report shared its recent discovery of what likely will be the forms of Zygarde, thanks to the Japanese manga CoroCoro.

Cell

Zygarde, the report said is derived from Zygote or a fertilized egg. In Pokémon Z, the hero will start out as a Single Cell that lacks consciousness and in the basic form is dispersed in different parts of the world.

Core

The next phase for Zygarde is having a Core or a brain that provides for awareness.

10% Growth

Movie Pilot said that Zygarde will progress by attracting other surrounding cells that will give the hero a dog-like form, which represents 10% of body growth.

50% Growth

From a canine model, Zygarde will then evolve, also by feeding off on nearby cells, into a form that is quite similar to a serpent. In that body, it means that the character has achieved 50% growth.

Complete evolution

In reaching the 100% mark, Zygarde will be in the perfect form of a humanoid. The hero will then take the role as the nearly invincible protector of the Pokémon universe, the report said.

Rumors are rife that more about Zygarde or anything about Pokémon Z and GO will be known on December 15 or the date that the next CoroCoro magazine will be out. However, history suggests that the CoroCoro December edition mostly touches on upcoming movies about the franchise so the publication may not reveal details on the Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO release date after all, AttackOfTheFanboy.com said in a report.
