Lady Gaga attended singer Mariah Carey's holiday show in New York on Dec. 21, Sunday. Later, the "Bad Romance" hit maker was seen happily posing with the singing sensation of the evening.
Both the divas Carey and Lady Gaga were seen hanging out backstage at the Beacon Theater and clicked many photos together. The duo looked thrilled to see each other as they grabbed a selfie with one another to share on their respective Instagram accounts.
While Lady Gaga's caption on the picture that she posted read, "Hey ladies, Merry F*cking Christmas. Love, Mariah and Gaga" while the one from Carey scripted "Taking a selfie with the beautiful @ladygaga! Merry Christmas!!"
An additional line by Lady Gaga praised Carey to the skies and said that she was very kind and gracious as well.
What is brewing with this double dose of divas is interesting as Carey and Lady Gaga are not known to be getting along with each other's peers. Surprisingly, Lady Gaga seemed to have a lot of love for the "Hero" singer backstage on Sunday evening at the penultimate show of her residency.
While Lady Gaga was seen in a long platinum wig and a scarlet halter-neck dress, Mariah was spotted in a glowing silver color strapless gown.
Carey will wrap up her six-show residency at the legendary N.Y.C. venue on Dec. 22 after kicking off the string of concerts last week. She said that she can not imagine being anywhere more special than living on the stage in her hometown and celebrating with her fans during the Christmas season, which is also her most treasured time of the year.
