"Doctor Who Season 9" will still have Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman is also staying!

As revealed by "Doctor Who Season 8" Christmas Day special edition, Coleman also has confirmed that she will continue playing her role as Clara Oswald, the assistant of Doctor Who for another series of the show.

Prior to this, there had been uncertainty about her future in the show with rumors she would be replaced in "Doctor Who Season 9."

In 2012, Coleman joined "Doctor Who." She has starred alongside Matt Smith as the first Doctor before the current Doctor played by Capaldi.

"It's wonderful. I get a whole other series of stories with the Doctor and I couldn't walk away with the story being unresolved," Coleman told BBC News. For "Imaginary Forces" actress, Doctor and her character have finally just reached "a point where they really understand each other."

Coleman also said that the arrival of the 12th Doctor has just somewhat "dropped this whole bombshell" and let the dynamic to change totally.

This is Coleman thinks something new has been suddenly thrown up just when her "Doctor Who" character was feeling more at ease in the relationship.

Capaldi has also expressed how thrilled he is that Coleman is staying in "Doctor Who." He described the actress as someone who "has just been fantastic and such a pleasure to work with."

Meanwhile, Capaldi recently revealed how bad he is when it comes to technology.

"If you're ever under that illusion, just give me a piece of technology, any technology. My family know not to get me any tech for Christmas," Capaldi told Radio Times adding that he can never get gadgets to work.
