Jessa Duggar Seewald, 23, and her sister Jill Duggar Dillard are the stars in the three-part special, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," which commences on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC. However, the promo clips indicate that the new Duggar family spin-off still explores the ongoing saga about Josh Duggar.
TLC cancelled "19 Kids And Counting" after confirming that Josh had molested five underage girls, some of whom were his sisters. Because of Josh's saga, advertisers were fleeing, and the network regretted having to cancel the fan-favorite reality TV show. Now, two members of the Duggar family have come back in the three-part special amid Josh continuing to generate scandals, according to USA Today.
Apart from molesting the young girls, including Jill and Jessa, Josh confessed having cheated on his wife Anna and being addicted to porn. The 27-year-old father of four lost his previous life as a conservative family value lobbyist on the East Coast and went into a sex addiction rehab.
In the new Duggar "19 Kids And Counting" reboot, Josh's sisters and his wife, Anna, discuss the disgraced Duggar family member.
Anna confesses, "It was heartbreaking to hear what had happened."
The TV special will show the Duggar family sisters, particularly Jessa's life as a new mother to baby Spurgeon with her husband Ben. The spin-off also focuses on Jill's life in Central America with her husband, Derick, and their seven-month-old son, Israel, as they do missionary work.
As TLC continues to develop the new specials, with the second and third slated for Dec. 20 and 27, Josh is yet again in the news for a new sex scandal, Inquisitr reported. An adult film star and model asserts Josh assaulted her during consensual sex. The disgraced Duggar family member had allegedly paid her for their affair after they met in a strip club.
