"Baby" hit maker Justin Bieber recently puzzled his fans when he shared to his more than 20 million Instagram followers a photo of a girl, who is not his on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The girl is named Scarlett Rose who is signed in to Wilhelmina Models, according to her Instagram account.
Rose's photo on Bieber's Instagram account has no caption and has received more than 678,000 likes just four hours after it was posted. After a recent mass clear-out by Instagram, Bieber lost more than 3.5 million fake Instagram followers.
Prior to this, Bieber hinted on his comeback to the music industry after months of hiatus with a series of legal controversies. He posted a photo of himself with a caption, "My break is for a reason. U will soon see :) thank u for your patience **."
The 20-year-old Canadian pop star also posted a photo of his back with a caption, "Always look forward and never look back."
Another recent Instagram photo posted by Bieber is captioned, "Don't let your surroundings affect your beliefs."
In 2007, Bieber rose to fame after his current manager Scooter Braun discovered him on YouTube. He was signed to RBMG before Island Records and worked with Usher and L.A. Reid.
At the age of 15, Bieber's debut album "My World" made him the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to be on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
On the other hand, the official YouTube video of Bieber's hit song "Baby" has received more than 4.3 million dislikes, which outnumbers its 2.6 million likes, making it the video with most dislikes on YouTube.
In his five-year career, Bieber has released three albums, which are "My World 2.0" in 2010, "Under The Mistletoe" in 2011 and "Believe" in 2012.
