While the Marvel has been busy with its own universe covering both the TV world and movie world, DC on the other hand has been keeping its action hero projects rather a bit exclusive or mutually shared.
But in the middle of other worlds, Producer guy Greg Berlanti is bridging both worlds that enabled sharing a mutual ground for their characters. Under Berlanti's responsibility are "Legends of Tomorrow", "Arrow" and "The Flash." Not to mention he is also producing the "Supergirl". The fact that Berlanti is behind "Supergirl," rumors have started making a buzz about the possibility of a crossover.

CBS Tv Network has initially ordered a total of thirteen episodes of the show "Supergirl" with an option to complete an episode of 20 under one season, so another nine will be added soon. According to the source, Kara Danver or "Supergirl" will be meeting Barry Allen "The Flash". With the team-up of both heroes, it is possible that this could help boost up the ratings after "The Big Bang Theory"s rating went a bit downhill.
Back in August, CBS entertainment Head Nina Tassler have released a statement denying any crossover plots for "Supergirl" to join any of the two male hero, "The Flash" nor "Arrow," but added quickly that CBS is no way closing doors for any possibility of future crossovers of network. But admitted that the network into promoting cross over, but not with the characters. For one reason, cross over is not as easy as it seems, because people working on their respective networks and shows can't just cross over the way characters do in many movies and shows - randomly won't be easy, Design and Trend reported.
According to Tassler, she respects characters and their universe. With this being said, you can't just pluck them in their world and fly them somewhere -- and she wanted to make sure that she is always in a manner of being mindful and respectful in that sense. In the end, she acknowledged the brainchild of cross over field, the executive producer Greg Berlanti.
