If the recent content submission ratings are to be believed, Capcom is planning to re-release "Resident Evil 6" survival horror sequence. The sequel will be released on current generation gaming platforms.
The remastered edition will be released in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to suggestion posted by Gematsu.
Capcom recently announced that the team is working on developing "Resident Evil: Revelations" and the upgraded version will be made available for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.The announcement was made shortly after drop in ratings data for both ports.
"Resident Evil 6" was released in 2012 in Xbox 360 console, PlayStation 3 console and even in PC. The game featured four characters and had their own unique campaign feature. In "Resident Evil 6," the game play mechanics between each character have great amount of variance between the playable characters.
Also, the previous version has options for players to connect with friends and even options for online multiplayer mode. The upgraded version has options for multiplayer nodes and large amount of downloadable content is being released now.
Capcom has been tracking down every detail of The Resident Evil series recently. This was in the wake of the event when publisher announced plans for remake of "Resident Evil 0" and "Resident Evil 2." "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" that is supposed to be a multiplayer and competitive spin off is now getting ready to be launched in both PlayStation 4 and PCs next year.
However, there is no update on the release date of "Resident Evil 6" re-release for PlayStation or Xbox consoles.
