"NCIS" Season 13 is on a two-week hiatus. The series will not air any new segment on Dec. 1, 2015. The show will resume its run on Dec. 15 with Episode 11 titled "Spinning Wheels." When "NCIS" Season 13 returns from its break, the show will delve deeper into Ducky's past as he investigates his half-brother's death and Ellie Bishop and Jake's marital problems. Recently, Ellie Bishop discovered that Jake has been cheating on her with one of his colleagues. This leaves her devastated and she decides to file for divorce.

Moving on to Episode 9 of "NCIS" Season 13. According to the synopsis for "Spinning Wheel" (via Spoiler TV), Ducky is attacked by a man who claims to have information about his brother. However, Ducky's brother died almost ten years ago. The NCIS team springs into action and searches for the attacker.

Fans can expect to see some emotional moments and flashbacks from Ducky's past. In the meantime, Ducky spends time recalling the last time he was with his brother before he died.

As for Bishop, her relationship with Jake might be close to its end. The couple will discuss their future and try to figure what's next for them in their relationship.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "NCIS" actress Emily Wickersham, who plays the role of Ellie Bishop, talked about the future of Ellie and Jake's relationship. The actress refused to reveal what happens ultimately to their relationship. But she assured that divorce or no divorce Jake is going to be around. As for Ellie, she is going to go through a "big life change."

"It's a big life change, going through a divorce, and that doesn't just affect Bishop in her relationship," Emily Wickersham told the publication. "It definitely affects her work, everything in her life. I'm sure it'll take her to some dark places, maybe, and I'm sure we'll see her working through things, which is always fun for me to play," she continued.
