The second trailer for the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has dropped and it has more revealing details.
There was some criticism that the trailer showed too many details that there would be little room for shocking twists. Perhaps Warner has determined that people will still watch the film no matter how much it has been spoiled.
Nevertheless, Heroic Hollywood's Umberto Gonzalez has celebrated his "victory" in being the first to break the presence of Doomsday in the film.
Not so fast!!
On Superhero Feed's Facebook page, they ran a DM submitted by Colin Cormier stated that it's NOT actually Doomsday that the "Trinity" was fighting in the final scene in the trailer.
He claims that the villain is Wraith. His rationale states that Wraith was created during the World War 2 era using Kryptonian DNA..and the Wonder Woman movie has a photo of Chris Pine in that era (although other fans point out it's World War 1).
Cormier claims that Wraith movie version was created by Luthor using Zod's DNA and that Wraith has the power to absorb powers and shoot lasers from his eyes. There are also spikes on his body just like Doomsday's evolution. However, he does admit that it's only his opinion.
However, this photo from Superman 656 was pointed out by Slater Laughland to bear resemblance to the monstrous villain in the trailer. It does resemble it more than the comic version of Doomsday does, but that is not the Wraith that Cormier is referring to. It's a Superman foe who is also an alien hybrid, named Subjekt 17.
This could be Zack Snyder's way to troll the internet spoiler sleuths like Umberto Gonzalez by throwing them off. Doomsday or no Doomsday, hordes of fans are waiting for March 25, 2016.
