Miss France Flora Coquerel remembers the horrific Paris terror attacks that left more than 130 dead in various locations including the Bataclan Concert Hall. Coquerel in the Miss Universe 2015 Instagram portrait series shared that she was at the football stadium during the attack.
"I was at the football stadium during the recent Paris attacks. For me it's important to continue to live my life and to not live in fear. We have to be strong. All of France needs to come together to be strong," reads the caption of Miss Universe France 2015.
Apart from Coquerel, other contestants also shared their struggle and dreams in the Miss Universe 2015 Instagram portrait series.
"In 2012, I had to have emergency open heart surgery. I almost lost my life, but thanks to encouragement from my friends and family I was able to return to school and finish my degree. Earning that diploma is my proudest accomplishment," Miss Universe Nicaragua 2015 said.
The contestants sizzle in the Miss Universe 2015 shoot as they get ready for the ultimate night on Dec. 20, 2015.
