It's time for HTC One A9 to stand against Redmi Note 3, which features similar specs but at a take away price.
From the past few years, high end phones from HTC were well-received and were giving quite a stiff competition to its rivals like Samsung and Apple, in specs and phone durability, if not in the market share. But HTC has got one more new rival - Xiaomi, which has been the latest rival to all the above mentioned.
With the latest release of HTC One A9, an impressive phone (initially priced at $399 for limited time) priced decently at $500, everyone were of an opinion that this would bring attention to the smartphone maker; however, an equally impressive and similarly configured phone from Xiaomi - Redmi Note 3 - stole the show in terms of price. Modestly priced at $140, the Redmi Note 3 is going to be a taut competition to HTC One A9.
Both the phones support 4G LTE network, with HTC One A9 sporting 5.0 Inch AMOLED screen while Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5 Inch IPS LCD screen. Apart from expandable memory up to 200GB, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and Dolby Audio from HTC One A9, rest of the specs of both the devices seem to be similar in their own standards. Both the phones feature 13MP primary camera and Octa Core CPUs.
Redmi Note 3 beats HTC One A9 in terms of screen size (as listed) and Dual-Sim capability, and most noticeably in the price aspect by a factor of 3.5 and more. With people looking for decent phones at reasonable prices, maybe it's the time for the next Samsung or Apple to arise from the bunch of new phone manufacturers.
