Cellar-dweller Aston Villa FC (1-11-3, 6 points) will take on top contender Arsenal FC (9-3-3, 30 points) at the Villa Park on Sunday, December 13 for a 2015-2016 Premier League season matchup.
Aston Villa had been out of luck all season, being winless in 14 of their last 15 games so far. Their last game was a heartbreaking 1-1 draw with Southampton, which saw them surrender an early lead late in the second half, as per BBC Sport.
Defender Joleon Lescott netted the opening goal one minute before the halftime break and Rémi Garde's squad thought it would be enough to beat the Saints that day.
However, Southampton's substitute midfielder Oriol Romeu scored the equalizer at the 73rd to crush the Villans' hopes of finally winning another match this season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal romped Sunderland, 3-1, at the Emirates Stadium last Saturday to move up to the second spot in the league table, via SkySports.
French forward Olivier Giroud scored in both team's nets, one for the Gunners at the 63rd and an own goal right at the stroke of halftime, but teammates Joel Campbell and Aaron Ramsey also scored a goal each at the 33rd and in injury time to finalize the count for Arsene Wenger's side.
It was the Gunners fifth unbeaten effort in their last six matches to move them within two points of current league leaders Leicester City.
The prediction is a 3-0 romp for Arsenal. Wenger's men continue their midseason onslaught to become of the top contenders to take home the English top flight crown this season.
