Samsung has recently released its newest progeny to the A series family, the Samsung Galaxy A7. The newest addition to the family sports the same metallic body and a larger 5.5 inch display. Samsung's newest smartphone is aimed for consumers who put more emphasis on aesthetics rather that specs.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is a follow up to the Samsung Galaxy A5 which was released last year. At quick look the Samsung Galaxy A7 looks pretty much the same as its previous incarnations, the Samsung A5 and Samsung A3, it still has the same full aluminum body and the design itself is almost identical. However, the Samsung Galaxy A7 outshines its two predecessors from within.
Unlike the A3 and the A5 which both runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the Samsung A7 runs on a mind-blowing octa-core processor. Its eight core processor is composed of two quad-core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 1.8GHz and 1.3 GHz.
On the other hand, its dual SIM variation runs on a 1.5GHz and a 1GHz quad-core processor. Both variants of the A7 have 16 gigabyte of internal storage which can be upgraded through the microSD slot to as much as 64 gigabyte and two gigabytes of RAM. To sustain the A7's monstrous power is its 2600 mAh battery
The Galaxy A7 also has the biggest display in all of the three A series smartphones with 5.5 inch super AMOLED display with high-definition capabilities. The A7 also has a 13 megapixel front camera and a five megapixel rear camera, all equipped with Samsung's newest feature called the "wide selfie" and the "beauty face".
Both variants of the A7 will be running using the Android Kitktat OS and Samsung intend to upgrade it with the Lollipop OS in the future.
Samsung has yet to confirm the official release date of the smartphone but various speculations claims that it will be sometime within the third quarter of the year.
