Earlier it was planned that "Star Ocean 5" will be released in Feb. 25; however, in a recent press release, Square Enix has proclaimed clearly that "Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness" has been further delayed by a month, as it will make its grand release in March 31, 2016 in Japan. Thus basically PS4/PS3 exclusive "Star Ocean 5" has put its customers on hold to wait for some more time so that they can approach with a better game quality level and appearance.
Though a firm date is not yet fixed for "Star Ocean 5" in the west, it is anticipated that the game will arrive in 2016.
The press release clarifies the news saying, "'Star Ocean 5' is in its in-depth development, and it is being delayed because the game can attain an additional progress in quality. That's why the date is shifted to March next year, instead of February."
The Limited Edition game box covers:
The game replica; A unique box, also box casing; Extraordinary figure of Miki special including elevated Miki figure of 210 mm who is childhood friend of super-man Fidel; Five-disc special soundtrack placed in special binding; Star Ocean art book- illustration, artwork, and CG (of 80 pages); 8 special postcards marking Star Ocean 5 illustrations and also CG; and Original DLC Download Code, which is a downloadable content to modify background music to that of other distinct games in the series.
"Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness" is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in standard and Ultimate Box editions in Japan next year. "Star Ocean 5" will be released for PlayStation 4 in Europe and North America in 2016.
