English powerhouse Manchester United FC (8-3-5, 29 points) will look to redeem themselves from an embarrassing loss last week as they face bottom-three club Norwich City FC (3-8-5, 14 points) at the Old Trafford on Saturday, December 19 for a 2015-2016 Premier League season game.
United dropped a sorry 1-2 decision to surprise team AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last Saturday, as per SkySports.
Boscombe midfielder Junior Stanislas surprised the Red Devils with a corner kick right at the second minute of the match before United's seldom-used midfielder Marouane Fellaini was able to equalize it at the 24th.
However, Bournemouth's Norwegian winger Joshua King netted the winner at the 54th to upset the Manchester side and hand Louis van Gaal's men only their third loss of the season.
Meanwhile, Norwich City managed to pull off a 1-1 draw with contending squad Everton FC at the Carrow Road also last Saturday, via The Guardian.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku netted a goal at the 15th minute to put the Toffees ahead early in the game, but the Canaries midfielder Wes Hoolahan was able to level the count at the 47th to salvage a point for Alex Neil's squad in the overall standings.
United has dropped to fourth place in the league table after three straight unsuccessful tries while Norwich was relegated to the bottom three for the first time this season after going winless in five of their last six matches.
The predicted result is a 2-1 escape for Manchester United.
