"One Piece Film: GOLD," a new venture of "One Piece" is set to be released in theatres in Japan on the July 23, 2016.
The sea-faring anime heroes of the Straw Hat Pirates will once again be seen on the big screen, as fans wait with patience. The news came after an official announcement by Eiichiro Oda, creator of One Piece, was seen on their official website.
Speculations are high on whether the upcoming One Piece film will be all about Gol.D Roger, after the resounding success of the film "One Piece Film Z," which has taken the fans to ecstasy. Details of the film are scheduled to surface in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine 2016 issue. The film will be directed by Hiraoki Miyamoto with Eiichiro Oda, the original creator of manga will be the executive producer, just as he was in "One Piece Film Z."
Going by reports from Anime News Network, starting December 18, the first tickets will be up for pre sale, although the bonus that accompanies the tickets is scheduled to be announced in the second 2016 issue of the Shonen Jump magazine. Updates of the release of the film, which is the 13th theatrical release of the movie series "One Piece," in Western Cinemas are yet to be released.
After the success of the previous films by "One Piece," fans are excited to see what this upcoming film "One Piece: GOLD" has in store for them. All depends upon the work to be put by #EiichiroOda.
