Kathy Griffin debuted on "Fashion Police" with a tribute to the late Joan Rivers on Jan. 12, Monday, Xposé Entertainment reported.
The show started with Griffin saying, "Before I start making more enemies and burning new bridges, I want to thank my good friend. Joan, I know you are watching from heaven, but I am not afraid to bring the hammer down on anyone."
Griffin's debut was just the day after the Golden Globe Awards and the host proceeded to share her viewpoints s of the celebrities' outfits who attended the event. Amal Clooney was highly criticized by Griiffin because of her white gloves saying that it was better off in a porn movie. The host added that when she discovered that Amal made the gloves she said "I was like, yeah, no."
Griffin also made snide remarks on Kiera Knightley's dress and commented that it was a mix of "Little Bo Peep" and "Silence of the Lambs." The ruffled dress with butterflies and a black belt was described by Griffin as a "riot" and it made her laugh.
At the Golden Globes, several celebrities wore revealing gowns and Jennifer Lopez was one of them. The host hailed Lopez as the best dressed out of the female attendees. Griffin did not miss the opportunity to comment on Lopez's cleavage and leg-baring ensemble.
"My inner gay boy just loves. I love the danger. I almost saw cooch. Sparkles, razzle-dazzle. This is what I live for - she looks like she's in a gladiator movie and playing the girlfriend. I like that she has the cooch-clutch," Griffin said.
The revealing gown of Kate Hudson earned praises from the hosst as well. Griffin said that she loved the dress but was nervous for the actress and she asked her co-hosts what sex position they would do with Hudson.
Griffin was joined by Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and Brad Goreski. The panel commented on the Golden Globes outfits of Emma Stone, Salma Hayek, Julianne Moore and Emily Blunt among others.
"Fashion Police" will continue to critic and praise celebrities fashion style on Jan. 12, Monday on E!
