"Dragon Ball Z" fans are set to see another chapter in Goku and the other heroes' life, as Hero TV will air the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" film in January 2016.
On Dec. 14, Philippines television channel Hero TV aired a commercial and it revealed that it will air Tadayoshi Yamamuro's "Dragon Ball Z: Reseurrection F" in January 2016, according to Anime News Network.
Aside from "Dragon Ball Z: Reseurrection F," other anime shows that Hero TV is set to air from October to December include"Kuroko's Basketball" season 3, "Initial D: Fifth Stage," "Code Geas: Akito the Exiled OVA" episode 4, "Bodacious Space Pirates," and "Free! Eternal Summer."
Based on Akira Toriyama's manga of the same name, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" serves as the latest film of the "Dragon Ball" franchise. It chronicles the arrival of Sorbet and Tagoma, two remnants of Frieza's army, as they search for the Dragon Balls to bring Frieza back to life and seek vengeance on the Saiyans.
"Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" also features an epic battle between Vegeta and Goku, which is reportedly similar to Frieza and Goku's battle in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 23, according to iSchoolGuide.
With Yamamuro at the helm of the film, "Dragon Ball Z" and "Ginga Patrol Jaco" writer Akira Toriyama was in charge of the screenplay. Jared Hedges, who is known for his work like "Fullmetal Alchemist,""Keroro Gunso," "Shin Chan," and "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods," made the English adaptation of the film script.
Yamamuro's "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" hit theaters in the United States on Aug. 4 and it is slated to premiere in Philippine theaters on June 10, 2016.
