Bungie issued a hotfix for fixing glitches and item related issues for Destiny Exotic Engrams, which will enable players to decrypt all the exotic engrams without having to fear.
This was not the case before when a problem was noticed since Destiny 2.1 was updated. Other small issues were also fixed, helping players to decrypt into any of the items. Problems related to "The Climb" FWC Ship copies, incorrectly providing reputation were also fixed with the hotfix.
Guardians will be able to decrypt the Exotic Leg Engrams without having to worry about any item being produced. This has resulted in players being unable to obtain the gear for quests relating to SRL Record Book, and from now onwards, have to buy the book to get access to the aesthetic gears.
According to Eric Osborne, an important member of the community liaison team, Destiny has plans to introduce new modes and mechanics for keeping the title fresh. Other issues that were fixed includes the issue relating to players not being required to own their Record Book for acquiring items from the SRL Record Book Vol. 1.
Reports confirm that the items of the Record Book will not be deleted from the inventories of players, and it will now require the ownership of the Record Book for equipping the items. All progresses made towards the Record Book will henceforth be saved. Furthermore, a warning has been issued by the company that gear from the Record Book can be acquired only once by players.
