With the holidays here, and most likely many people taking their first steps into the Fallout 4 wasteland, it is important to review the beginner's guide on how to use Power Armor and weapons.
According to Attack of the Fan Boy, power armor is very different in "Fallout 4" as compared to how it worked previously. Currently, a gamer must have a Fusion Core to run the power armor, and it will diminish this power source fast enough. Later on in the game, a player requires many Power Armor suits and Fusion Cores to power them, although at first one will only have a few.
Players should ensure that they save their Fusion Cores for tougher missions and try to collect as many Power Armor suits as possible in addition to armor pieces before starting the modification process. There is a rank to the Power Armor, with the X-01 Mk. III being the topmost. A guide on how to locate the rare piece of equipment can be found here, and another guide here to get players started with a few Fusion Cores.
With regard to the weapons, there is a collection of good ones, but a player cannot locate them at the beginning of the game. Furthermore, players can only unlock the true potential of a weapon after modding it, which comes later on.
First, just stick with 10mm guns or whatever a player has ammo. There is no need to save the weapons found, unless there is a plan beforehand and require the parts when you can scrap them later.
All a gamer requires is to use whatever he or she finds during the adventures and they should be fine until a player starts stumbling across better components.
