Here is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow release news for LG G2, LG G3 and LG G4 on US carriers.
The mobile carrier Sprint has begun bringing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the LG G4, according to GSMArena. The update, which includes Sprint's global roaming feature, upgrades the software version to LS991ZV9.
The owners will also get other Android M features such as redesigned app permissions, Google Now on Tap and improved battery life.
Software updates on Sprint are generally released in phases, therefore, not all owners should expect the new Marshmallow update on their devices on the same day.
Furthermore, the electronics company has started the roll out of the new update for LG G3 device in Poland, International Business Times reported.
An LG Poland executive had disclosed that the Marshmallow update will be available for LG G3 smartphone owners between December 16 and December 18. At present, owners of LG G3 in Poland are getting the Android M update after the promised timeframe.
LG G3 smartphone sports a 5.50-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels. It has 2GB of RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor.
The LG G3 has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The device has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
Also, Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has been made available for LG G Stylo smartphone owners by Sprint in the United States. According to reports, the LG G4c, LG G Flex 2 and the LG G2 will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
