Surprise team Bologna FC (7-10-1, 22 points) will try to continue its slow ascent in the 2015-2016 Serie A league table as the team plays middling squad AC Chievo (6-7-5, 23 points) at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara this January 10, Sunday.
Bologna pulled off a 1-0 upset against contending team AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro on Wednesday, January 6 for its third win in its last three games, as per ESPN.
I Rossoblu midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini provided the lone goal for Roberto Donadoni's side at the 82nd minute to gain three points in the overall standings and hand Milan its first loss after five matches.
The win raised the Bolognese to seven points off the bottom three teams as the team looks to recover from their poor start to the season.
Meanwhile, Chievo is heading to the opposite direction as it is currently on a two-game winless slide.
Mussi Volanti settled for a 3-3 draw with Roma also on Wednesday at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, as reported by SkySports.
Roma rolled into an early 2-0 lead with goals from Umar Sadiq and Alessandro Florenzi in the first 37 minutes of the game. Chievo was able to equalize it in the second half, though, as striker Alberto Paloschi and defender Dario Dainelli each found the back of the net at the 44th and 58th.
La Maggica forward Iago Falque scored at the 71st to hand his team the lead late in the game, but Gialloblu midfielder Simone Pepe was able to level it at the 85th to salvage sharing the point in the overall standings.
The prediction is a 2-1 upset by Bologna.
