Football Transfer News: AC Milan Striker Luiz Adriano Backs Out Of CSL's Jiangsu Suning’s €14M Deal

Breaking news has emerged that AC Milan striker Luiz Adriano is backing out of the €14 million transfer deal with Chinese Super League's Jiangsu Suning FC at the last minute of negotiations.

The 28-year-old Brazilian was in China on Monday to finish up the requirements to complete his move such as medical and work related permits, but reports went out on Tuesday that the Porto Alegre, Brazil native suddenly "pulled the plug on the deal", as per ESPN, citing Brazilian media outlet GloboEsporte.

Other reports have also verified that there were a lot of concerns and hesitations between Adriano and Jiangsu Suning prior to the official signing in China that the transfer altogether fell through at the last minute.

As of the moment, Adriano is reportedly coming back to Italy to train with old club Milan and head coach Siniša Mihajlović on Thursday.

Everything seemed to be coming along well as of Monday when reports said that Adriano already agreed to the CSL club's terms, via Sportskeeda.

But in a shocking twist, I Rossoneri is getting back the forward the club thought they already sold for a €6 million profit. Adriano was acquired by Milan from Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2015 for €8 million.

He appeared in 20 games in all competitions so far for il Diavolo, scoring five goals in the process.

Adriano would have been the third Brazilian to sign with Chinese Super League teams since December after midfielders Jadson and Renato Augusto joined Tianjin Songjiang and Beijing Guoan respectively.
