Avid fans are awaiting HTC's upcoming premium smartphone repetition, the HTC One M10; however, it seems that this Taiwanese mobile phone maker is having plans of expanding its new lineup. Speculations or rumors circling around say that HTC will come with another iteration of the Desire flagship. However, instead of a mobile phone variant, it will come up with the Desire T7 tablet.
As posted in Times News, the rumored product is spotted on the GFXBench website, with its specifications already mentioned. As per reports, the handset will be released as the HTC Desire T7 with model number HTC IV5001-A.
As per an industry follower, it itemized the overall specifications of the device. Upon its release, the HTC Desire T7 tablet will come with a 6.9-inches display with 1280x720P resolution. It should be powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum chipset with a dual-core ARM Mali GPU. Its internal storage is at 16GB with 1GB of RAM. It is uncertain though if the device will include multiple storage selections.
As per Phone Arena, it is going to be an entry-level tablet with basic internals. HTC is targeting the Desire T7 for emergent markets, and not on renowned or well-established markets such as the United States.
Other specifications of the HTC Desire T7, as posted on GFXBench, include a 5MP camera for both rear and front. It should also be able to record full HD videos. Camera features include HDR photo capture, LED flash, face detection and autofocus. The upcoming HTC Desire T7 should also include connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The device is also said to run Android Lollipop 5.0.
Tentatively as for now, no fixed release date is yet announced, but many observers say that the HTC Desire T7 will be introduced in the next Mobile World Congress in February.
So, stay tune for more updates about the HTC Desire T7 tablet.
