“Fifty Shades Darker” is set to hit the big screen on Feb. 10, 2017.

Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan of "Fifty Shades Darker" are feuding, as per reports, about the popularity they are both receiving. Rumours show that the actress surpasses the actor, which started their so-called feud.

Let's find out how true is that?

Both stars of "Fifty Shades Darker" are indeed one of the most popular Hollywood personalities these days, and their popularity all started when they portrayed Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in this movie. According to speculations, the actress is actually surpassing her on-screen partner aside from the E.L. James trilogy, which actually triggered fights between the two.

As reported by Inquisitr, it's a great big deal that the stars of the "Fifty Shades Darker" made a breakthrough in this project. It has been a great deal for both actor and actress to be stars of James' trilogy story. As noticed by the Australia Network News, Johnson had more offers for leading roles outside the movie series than her on-screen partner. This of course led to the suspicion if both stars are feuding on who's more popular between them.

Many may be aware that Johnson has been in headlines in movie news this time around, not due to her erotic film, but because of multiple film projects such as "How to Be Single" with Rebel Wilson, "Black Mass (2015)" with Johnny Depp and the "Sound of Metal," which reunites her with "The Bigger Splash" co-star Matthias Schoenaerts.

As for Dornan, he had not been casted in other Hollywood film projects. Rumours have been circulating that he will play a part in the movie "Burnt" with Bradley Cooper, in relation to his role in "Fifty Shades Darker." Many are asking if his name had been eventually erased in the movie scene. He was supposed to be tapped in the TV series "The Fall"; however, his big screen assignments have revolved around James' novel alone.

These are mere rumours only as no official reports clearly depicts that both actor and actress are feuding about popularity. Dornan and Johnson are still hanging on to their roles, and that such feud is purely speculations, said other reports.
