'Suicide Squad' movie rumors: Nightwing, The Riddler to appear in the film; Two international TV spots streamed [VIDEOS]

Suicide Squad is a comic based film directed by David Ayer and it stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis and Cara Delevingne.

New details for "Suicide Squad" the movie will feature two internation TV spots and a rumored appearance from Nightwing and The Riddler.

Two characters from the Batman mythos are rumored to appear in the "Suicide Squad" film and these are Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Edward Nygma/The Riddler. Prior to the release of the new "Suicide Squad" trailer during the "Dawn of the Justice League" special on the CW Network, several comic book fans theorized what kind of roles will "Mad TV" comedian Ike Barinholtz and "Fury" star Scott Eastwood would be playing in the film.

Writer Philip Tarver theorized that Barinholtz coud be the Riddler in "Suicide Squad" movie as the first indication of his existence was first spotted in the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" teaser. If not the Riddler, Barinholtz could have been Professor Hugo Strange, an evil psychiatrist who is obsessed with Batman and his activities in the comics. Barinholtz stated in an interview that his character is someone that peopel would not want in their house for dinner, clearly indicating that his character is very dangerous, Moviepilot reported.

As for Scott Eastwood, comic book fans speculated that his role could be Dick Grayson/Nightwing and was sent by Batman (Ben Affleck) to keep an eye on the super criminals in prison. His presents theorized that Nightwing has left Batman's shadow and began his career as a solo crime fighter in Bludhaven. Grayson could likely be in disguise in the film keeping an eye on the Suicide Squad and there activities, Comic Book reported.

Now that new trailer has been revealed it seems that Barinholtz and Eastwood will be soldiers under Rick Flag's (Joel Kinnaman), but it is not yet revealed what kind of role will they have on the film.

In other news, two new TV spots for "Suicide Squad" have been streamed online and text of the first video is in Korean.

The first TV spot will feature The Joker (Jared Leto) speaking his line and the rest is a montage of actions scenes and characters Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and among others.

The second trailer will feature Rick Flag explaining the team's mission which he quoted by saying "they are going somewhere very bad and do something that will get them killed". The video ends with the Joker maniacally laughing.

The film will feature a team of super villains handpicked by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) to work with the United State Government as expendable soldiers on dangerous missions, hence their namesake.

"Suicide Squad" will be showing in cinemas on Aug. 5.
