Final Fantasy XV (ファイナルファンタジーXV Fainaru Fantajī Fifutīn?) is an upcoming action role-playing video game being developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and currently scheduled for a worldwide release in 2016.

New "Final Fantasy XV" details will feature new gameplay details, a PC version in the works and Stella's possible return to the game.

The latest Active Time Report revealed new gameplay details and important characters from the Niflheim Empire. Square Enix director Hajime Tabata and Marketing Manager Akio Ofuji played host during the report and showcased several in-game animations such as Noctis and Gladious pushing their car, the Regalia, new camp events and combat moves such as "Parry chains", "Cross chains", "Ghosting", "Spear attacks" and fire magic attacks.

Magical attacks such as fire can spread out to the field such as grass lands and could cause serious damage from both enemies and allies alike. The trailer also revealed some stealth missions for "Final Fantasy XV" as Noctis and his friends infiltrated a Niflheim base and they must work together in order not to get caught. The Niflheim Empire are equipped with Magitek technology and gigantic mechs to destroy them and they will utilize certain abilities like warp jumps, Cross chains and X Strikes against them,

Tabata and Ofuji revealed new characters during the Active Time Report such as Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt, Chancellor Ardyn Izunia, General Glauca and the mysterious female dragoon fighter Aranea Highwind, IGN reported.

Square Enix added that the official release date of "Final Fantasy XV" will be announced during the special March event along with a new demo gameplay. The event will start on March 30 7:00pm Pacific Time in Los Angeles, California.

In other news, the rumored PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" will likely be in the works this year.

NeoGaf username KupoNut posted a Javascript files containing the HTML code for "Final Fantasy XV: Uncovered" website, which contains referrences for the Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Square Enix online stores, PC Gamer reported. With Steam being included in the codes it seems that the PC version for "Final Fantasy XV" is likely being developed this year.

However, several gamers are still skeptical about the codes as it may also be possible that these codes could have errors.

Tabata teased that former female lead Stella could be added back in the game as Square Enix felt that they needed some changes to her and that she should be handled delicately. Tabata added that the female characters in "Final Fantasy XV" will have a bigger purpose in the story balancing their male counterparts.

"Final Fantasy Xv" will launch sometime this year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
