Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima will reunite again as declared by The Academy of Interactive Sciences and Arts. They will be presenting the Thursday afternoon Keynote Address during the D.I.C.E. Summit 2016.

They have been the topic of uninterrupted discussion, excitement, speculation and eventually disappointment, and finally they both are together once again. Geoff Keighley will be moderating the event with their speech, similar to a discussion or interview.

The two figures have had an endless drama in the entertainment industry since it was declared they will be teaming up for "Silent Hill." The game was a reboot/sequel of the endurance horror franchise, which was proclaimed through the "Silent Hill P.T." gameplay teaser. Avid gaming enthusiasts were very much eager to see how the two artists will work together on such a classical franchise.

Unluckily, it remained to be solved as Konami ended up cancelling the project and Kojima had to be pushed out of the company, as they altered away from conventional video game development. Ever since, enthusiasts have marvelled if the two will still team up for some video game efforts, though they have secretive responses.

In the session titled "A Conversation with Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima," the master storytellers will furnish insights of their driving forces and creative visions behind their artistic recreations. With Keighley, a video game host and producer moderating the session, it should revisit the most memorable moments of their individual careers and the crucial moments for every works that have made their constant inspirations.

The session will be held on the Feb. 18, with "Fallout 4's" Todd Howard and comedian Pete Holmes presenting it in D.I.C.E. on the same day.

The conference theme is "The Art of Engagement" where topics will be touched about it. There's going to be an open world storytelling and design, how previous games influence design decisions, how fans are impacted by the game making process, how fan communities expand the life of a title through contributions and creations and a lot more.
