‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 new photos: No Jon Snow, new Three-Eyed Raven plus fate of few characters [SPOILERS]

"Game of Thrones" season 6 returns this March to HBO, and fans of the series are eager to see what happens. In 2015, some character plot reached the end of their novel colleagues. Many other characters have taken major diversions or have been merged with minor characters - Sansa's story merged with Jeyne Poole's - to take care of the condensed timeline.

However, one character, Lady Stoneheart, has been missing in action for some time, although she is desperately needed, according to Hit Fix. Perhaps, while most of the "Game of Thrones" fanbase does not like Lady Stoneheart for being superfluous, the character has a vital role to play in the looming war. As a result, it would be shameful not to see her cause chaos across the Riverlands of Westeros.

Recap

"Game of Thrones" season 5 revealed that Lady Stoneheart is the reawakened body of Catelyn Stark. After the Red Wedding, Arya goes into a sporadic sleep and transforms into her wolf, Nymeria. Perceiving it as a dream, Arya goes back to The Twins and resurrects Catelyn's lifeless body from the river.

The two characters are then scared off by a group of humans who called "Brotherhood Without Banners." The group comprises of Ser Beric Dondarrion (resurrected severally by a red priest Thoros), to the surprise of everyone.

"Game of Thrones" season 3 saw Arya and The Hound dealing with the "Brotherhood Without Banners," where they experienced great magic. Dondarrion had the power to use his blood to light a sword ablaze. The detail is very important because it is associated to the prophecy of Azor Ahai, Jesus of the Red God religion.

The novels revealed that a day would come after a long summer when the stars bleed and the cold expanse of darkness will fall heavily on the universe. At the time, a warrior shall draw from the fire a burning sword, which shall be Lightbringer. It shall be the Red Sword of Heroes and whoever shall clasp it shall be Azor Ahai return, and the darkness shall flee before him.

The aftermath of the Red Wedding saw "Game of Thrones" shifting focus to different aspects of the story, so that the Freys have died along the way. However, the North is aware that the sins of Walder Frey have not been forgotten. It is not easy to murder that large number of the noble family and walk away scot-free.
