After being greatly missed on "Game of Thrones" season 5, Isaac Hempstead Wright is confirmed to reprise his role as Bran Stark to make a welcome return in Season 6.
The young Stark was last seen in "Game Of Thrones" season 4 finale, entering the underground home of the mysterious Children of the Forest and meeting with the mystical Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow), who has turned out is not a bird at all, but an elderly man, whose body had joined with a weirwood tree.
It was teased at that time that the young Stark will soon be gifted with some special power that will eventually help the cripple to fly. His absence from the whole of season 5 came as a surprise and fans became anxious for his fate in the show that is famous for losing its characters to decapitation, poison, war, mutiny or to ill-advised religious rituals.
It now seems that Bran is not only returning back to the show, he is most likely to play an important role in the upcoming season owing to the fact that he was chosen as the visual to accompany the words of the Three-Eyed Raven in the show's first teaser and now he is the subject of the first official image, Entertainment Weekly reported.
As fans can see, Bran has grown plenty since he was last seen. He now has short hair and is around six feet tall. Judging by the pic in which he is seen out in open on a horseback, it seems that the young lad has completed his training and will become a game-changer for loyal Stark followers.
Bran is also expected to play an important role in the resurrection of his step brother Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), owing to his exceptional Warg skills. Having been undergone extreme torture in last few seasons, it seems that Starks will finally rise again to reunite and seek revenge against the Lannisters.
While Jon Snow is expected to return from dead to meet his sister Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and kill her tormentor Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), Arya (Maisie Williams) is likely to become a fully-fledged assassin, The Independent reported.
