BigBang is considered as the most successful k-pop group in the last decade.

K-pop group BigBang is set to start its Chinese tour this year in March, China Radio International reported.

The announcement was made by the group's agency, YG Entertainment, on Feb. 5.

The tour, 2016 BigBang MADE [V.I.P.] Tour in China, will commence in Shanghai from March 11 to 12 at the city's Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Included in the five-member band's itinerary are seven other cities, namely, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Changsha, Nanchang and Nanjing.

Primarily, the tour aims to promote the award-winning group's latest album, "M.A.D.E." However, its Chinese edition also serves as a reward for their fans in the country who helped make their recent 2015 world tour a huge success.

In 2015, BigBang began their 2015 tour in 11 Chinese cities and gathered over 180,000 fans.

Apart from their usual singing repertoire, the group is preparing for talk shows and interactive games to make the tour more engaging.

Prior to their Chinese tour, the boys will continue their global tour in Japan. BigBang's Japan show kicked off in Yafuoku Dome on Feb. 6 to 7. The group will be in Tokyo on Feb. 23 to 24.

Recently, the group grabbed the Digital Single of the Year and the Daesang Grand Prize in the Golden Disk Awards 2016, dubbed as the Korean counterpart of the Grammys.

The group's M.A.D.E. album, which has eight singles released throughout the summer of 2015, has won a total 23 awards, including the said most recent recognitions.

During their acceptance speech, the group revealed that there is only one year left for their fans to see them on stage as their members will be enlisting to serve in the army for two years.

While in military service, BigBang member T.O.P. promised that they will mature and continue touching the hearts of many k-pop lovers.

BigBang is one of the most successful k-pop groups in China. As of Aug. 2015, the group already had over 1.5 million following in Chinese fan cafes.

The group, which officially debuted on Aug. 19, 2006, is composed of T.O.P., G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.
